Trapping season is in full swing and I hope it's going well. With projected low fur prices, I'm sure trapper numbers are down.
The winter meeting and Legal Banquet are January 9th and are coming fast. The winter meeting will be at the East Central High School in Banning Junction again this year. Doors open at 8 am. There will be NO FUR TAGGING this year. The Legal Banquet will be later that day at the Community Center in Askov, which is 5 miles to the east. If you’re in need of tickets, contact Gary Meis. Should be another great evening with lots of nice prizes.
In this issue there is a ballot on Non-Resident trapping. If you can't attend, make sure and mail your ballot. It amazes me how many people don't do either and then complain about the outcome. So please vote.
The summer convention is in Fergus Falls this summer August 11-13. This year it will start Thursday at noon and conclude with the dance Saturday night.
See you at the winter meeting,
