In response to the large number of requests I have received over the years from landowners searching for a trapper to take care of a beaver problem, livestock losses to predators etc, I have decided to act as a go between to assist connecting landowners with local trappers as a courtesy to the public.
The MTA assumes no liability for any agreement made between parties in any fashion. I am simply responding to an obvious need in the public sector. Landowners should first contact their local conservation officers (game wardens) with wildlife problems. A contact list of conservation officers is available at the DNR's website - www.mndnr.gov.
Some departments carry a list of local trappers that handle damage complaints so always check with them first. This is critical particularly when trapping must occur in the off season and permits to allow such trapping have to be issued.
