Director Report
Hello Fellow Trappers!
On February 2nd we had our District 5 spring meeting at Johnson Fur. District 7 director Tom Marks and co-director Leon Windschitl attended so I guess I should say there was a combination district 5 and district 7 meeting. Cory Van Driel was there and gave an update on the lawsuit. Scott Johnson gave a very interesting fur report. The 220 topic was talked about and in a nut shell it came down to think about where you are setting them. Thanks go out to Minnesota Trapline Products, the Pete Jonas family, MTA Souvenirs, and to Cheryl Bodin for the door prize donations. Once again a lucky kid went home with a fur hat thanks to Karen and Eugene Anderson (KAE Furs). After the meeting there was a hog roast put on by the crew at Johnson Fur, fur handling demos given by Katharine Bachman, and Jason and Lisa Smith. It was standing room only and thanks to everyone that brought a kid with them because they are the future of trapping. Before I sign off just a reminder don't forget to donate to tanned fur project.
